EYECONT controls compliance with safety regulations at power distribution substations

Mallenom Systems has successfully completed pilot implementation of EYECONT system for the domestic power utility company which monitors compliance of the personnel with safety regulations when servicing electrical distribution substations.

The system is designed to automate the control of compliance with regulations when performing work at electric installation and reduce the overall number of incidents.

As part of the pilot project, Mallenom Systems managed to has successfully implement addressed the tasks of promptly identifying the following violations:

• absence or improper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by employees
• left opened switchboard cells left open
• clutter between cells (abandoned tools and other items)
• smoking on site.

  "We express our gratitude to the employees of Mallenom Systems for the pilot implementation of the automated control system for compliance with safety regulations at power distribution substation. They adapted the system for the conditions of our facility and according to achieve accurate detection rate", said Sergey Brechalov, Director of the Elektroset municipal unitary enterprise.

During the implementation of the pilot project, the system demonstrated its efficiency. At the moment, scaling of the system is being considered by the Customer.
