Four ARDIS systems at “GazpromNeft-Omsk Refinery” JSC

From 2009 to 2014 four ARDIS systems have been installed at GazpromNeft-Omsk Refinery, JSC checkpoints to automate four areas with scales for railway transport.

ARDIS automates the scales for railway transport, calculates the net mass of a cargo, decreases the operational costs and improves the dispatch time at the facility. Additionally, this system helps to minimise the presence of human error and it improves the overall efficiency of shipping services.

Project features:

• Servers’ backup – for the quick system recovery, in the case of main server malfunction, the spare server would be activated
• Specialised module for uploading data to the corporate bus
• “Archimedes’ principle” module for weighing railcars which carry liquids
• Сontrol module to monitor the change in the mass of the empty rail cars that repeatedly pass through a control area (for security purposes)
