Automarshal at Transcom company checkpoint

In December 2024, the Automarshal automatic number plate recognition system was successfully implemented at the checkpoint of the international transport and logistics company Transcom in the Smolensk region, Russia.

The goal of implementation — automation of access control regime, management of access control devices (barriers) and tracking vehicle movement between zones on the territory. Thanks to the Automarshal system, it was possible to implement:

• automatic control of vehicle entry/exit;
• prevention of unauthorized vehicle access;
• automation of security service operations;
• vehicle accounting on the territory;
• statistics collection and reporting;
• creating reports on vehicle presence outside working hours;
• complex entry/exit scenarios for the territory (for example, access by time of day or days of the week);
• notifying responsible employees about vehicle entry/exit from the territory via Telegram messenger;
• determining which zone of the territory the vehicle is located in.

Software (1 instance):

• Automarshal software, 9 recognition channels at speeds up to 30 km/h

• Automarshal external device interaction functionality
• Automarshal Web-client
• Number plate recognition for all supported countries

Equipment:

• IP camera – 9 pcs.
• Outdoor cabinet "Automarshal" – 1 pcs.
• Additional cabinet for connecting cameras – 2 pcs.

A distinctive feature of the project was the implementation of functionality for accounting and monitoring both tractors from the company's own fleet and trailers, including their movement between zones of the motor depot.

The system was successfully integrated with the existing infrastructure. The project became another step in the development of Automarshal functionality and clearly demonstrated how digitalization simplifies the control and accounting of transport even at complex facilities.
