Automarshal system at gas-filling stations in Armenia

In February 2023, Mallenom Systems and ServiceSoft implemented a project for gas-filling stations in Armenia, which is based on Automarshal license plate recognition system.

Based on the regulation of Armenian state, the refueling of vehicles that run on natural gas that have not passed technical inspection is prohibited. Before the implementation of the developed system, personnel at natural gas filling stations had to check each vehicle manually to comply with set regulation, which, however, required a lot of time and caused to have large margins for error by personnel.

The joint solution developed by Mallenom Systems and ServiceSoft now enables to automatically recognize the license plate of a vehicle at the entrance and receive information about the status of its technical inspection using integration with the web service of Department of Transportation.

Now with implemented system in place, operator of gas-filling station receives a notification about the vehicle’s technical inspection status on their work monitor and can quickly make a decision to allow the refueling to take place. As a result, this reduces vehicle servicing time and increases throughput capacity of natural gas filling station.

The system also enables to archive video recordings of operator actions and vehicles at the station.
