Mallenom Systems partnered with the "Digital Code of the Russian North" hackathon. The event was held in Vologda with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Vologda Region.
Vladimir Tsarev, Director of Development, and Denis Basharov, Head of the Department of Acceleration and Educational Programs, represented the company as experts.
Teams of students from Vologda State University, Chelyabinsk State University, and specialized colleges worked with big data, while 10th- and 11th-grade students developed smart devices—from automated lighting systems to interactive fountains and security systems. The best projects were recognized by a jury.

The team from Educational Center No. 11 received a special prize from Mallenom Systems for their "Smart Night Light". Their work stood out for its creative approach, meticulously crafted layout, and well-thought-out plans for future implementation.
"Today, technology companies play an important social role—they are participating in shaping the educational agenda, helping to build a bridge between schools, universities, and the real economy. A hackathon is an excellent opportunity for young professionals to immerse themselves in real-world technology challenges and get a feel for how industry works. We see our role not only in evaluating projects but also in helping participants broaden their perspective on the profession and demonstrate the opportunities offered by modern development. Initiatives like these are crucial for the region: this is where the future technology team is being formed—the people who, in a few years, will be creating solutions for industry, education, and medicine. We are ready to share our experience and help these young people grow," shared Vladimir Tsarev, Development Director.

The hackathon's main goal is to develop practical programming skills, foster interest in scientific and technical creativity, and strengthen the IT potential of the Vologda Oblast. For us, this is an opportunity to contribute to the development of IT competencies in the region and support young people's interest in technology. We are excited to be part of this digital future!
